A Democratic Primary Election for four local offices will be held in conjunction with The Presidential Preference Primary on Tuesday, March 6th, including the Assessor of Property Office, which I now serve.

   While I am fortunate to have no opposition on the ballot, as is Criminal Court Clerk Howard Gentry, your vote would be appreciated greatly, and there are two judgeships that are contested:

    For Circuit Court Judge, Division 2 - Phillip Robinson and Stanley Kweller seek to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of long-time judge Barbara Haynes.

   For Judge of General Sessions Court, Division 8, - Interim Judge Mike Jameson is opposed by Rachel L. Bell and Jack Byrd.

    Election days are times for citizens to express their will at the polls. Please take time to exercise your right to vote!
